Terms of Service

Welcome to Nijoor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nijoor mobile app and the website nijoor.com (together, the "Platform"), operated by Nijoor ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Nijoor.

1. What Nijoor is

Nijoor is a discovery platform. It helps buyers find products available at local shops near them, and helps shop owners list their products so nearby customers can find them.

• Nijoor is not a seller and does not own, stock, or sell any products.
• Nijoor does not process payments and does not deliver products. Any purchase happens directly between the buyer and the shop, in person or by their own arrangement.
• Nijoor simply connects buyers and shops. We are not a party to any transaction between them.

2. Who can use Nijoor

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to use Nijoor.
• You must provide accurate information when signing in or registering a shop.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and mobile number secure.

3. For shop owners

If you list a shop or products on Nijoor, you agree that:

• You are a genuine shop owner or authorised representative of the shop.
• The information you publish (shop name, products, prices, stock, photos, contact details) is accurate and up to date.
• You will only list products you are legally allowed to sell.
• You will not list illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, or prohibited items.
• You own or have the right to use the photos and content you upload.
• You are responsible for honouring the prices and availability you publish, and for your own dealings with customers.

We may remove any listing or shop that breaks these rules, without notice.

4. For buyers

• Product prices, availability, and details are provided by shop owners and may change. Please confirm with the shop before relying on them.
• Any purchase, payment, or collection is directly between you and the shop. Nijoor is not responsible for the transaction, product quality, or the conduct of any shop.
• Reviews you write must be honest and based on genuine experience.

5. Acceptable use

When using Nijoor, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, abusive, or illegal content
• Impersonate another person or shop
• Misuse, copy, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or hack the Platform
• Use Nijoor for any unlawful purpose

6. Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you upload (products, photos, reviews). By uploading it, you give Nijoor permission to display and distribute it on the Platform and in places like Google search and Google Shopping, so your shop and products can be discovered. You are responsible for the content you post.

7. Nijoor's role and limits of liability

• Nijoor is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that all information is correct or that the service will always be uninterrupted.
• Because Nijoor only connects buyers and shops, we are not responsible for any product, transaction, payment, dispute, loss, or damage arising between a buyer and a shop.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nijoor is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove any account, shop, or listing that breaks these Terms, is harmful to others, or misuses the Platform. You may stop using Nijoor at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and data.

9. Privacy

Your use of Nijoor is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Nijoor after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Assam, India.
