Return Policy

In-store purchases only. Nijoor is a local shop discovery platform — you find products online, but you buy them at the shop. Returns and exchanges are subject to each individual shop's own policy.

1. How Nijoor works

Nijoor helps you discover products available at shops near you. Nijoor itself does not sell products, take payments, ship orders, or deliver goods. Every purchase happens directly between you and the local shop, in person, at the shop's counter.

2. Who handles returns

Because your purchase is made directly with the shop, the shop you bought from handles all returns, exchanges, and refunds under its own policy. Nijoor does not process returns or issue refunds, since no payment is ever made through Nijoor.

3. Shop return policies

Return rules vary from shop to shop. A shop may, at its discretion:

Offer a full refund, an exchange, or store credit
Set its own return window (for example, 3–7 days from purchase)
Require the original bill or receipt
Require the product to be unused, with tags and original packaging
Exclude certain items from return (for example, perishable goods, innerwear, or items sold on discount)

Please ask the shopkeeper about their return policy before you buy, and always keep your bill.

4. Tips for a smooth return

Keep your receipt — most shops require it.
Return promptly — the sooner you go back, the easier it is.
Keep packaging and tags intact until you are sure you're keeping the product.
Contact the shop first — you can call or WhatsApp the shop directly from its Nijoor page.

5. Defective or wrongly described products

If a product is defective or clearly different from how it was described, raise it with the shop directly — most local shopkeepers value their reputation and will resolve genuine issues. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and other applicable consumer laws remain unaffected by any shop's individual policy.

6. Prices and availability

Prices and stock shown on Nijoor are provided by shop owners and may change at the shop. The final price is the price at the shop's counter. If something you saw on Nijoor is unavailable or priced differently in-store, that is a matter to settle with the shop before purchase.

7. Problems with a shop

If you believe a shop listed on Nijoor is behaving unfairly or misrepresenting its products, please tell us. We can review the shop's listing on our platform, though we cannot force a shop to accept a return.
